Logistics Classroom No. 820B Renovation at Hemet High School The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful Bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no Bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. Scope of Work o Demolish and dispose of existing interior and exterior ductwork part of the dust control system. o Demolish and dispose of existing airlines. o Demolish and dispose of galvanized wall paneling. Finish the wall behind, texture, and paint. o Fill in one door leading to the adjacent classroom--match the surrounding finishes insulation for sound shall be included for this infill. o Remove and replace all lighting and replace with LED RAB BOA Field Adjustable 8' LED Linear Fixture - Up & Down Light - Pendant - CCT Selectable - Flat Lens - White x12 o Patch and paint all walls to match existing. o Provide one accent wall and accent stripe to follow the perimeter of the entire room. o Prepare and paint existing HVAC ducts (color to be determined) o Remove brick flooring and replace it with concrete, provide dowels, and match the surrounding concrete finish. o Provide and install two 8' whiteboards, Series 4 MB LCS3 100 white Claridge. o Provide and install two 8' whiteboards, Arise Whiteboard, Claridge, NO tray o Remove the exterior dust collection system and associated ducting, electrical, and fencing. o Consolidate and remove electrical conduit / low voltage conduit and associate wiring. Terminate connections. o Remove the projector, projection screen, and associated brackets and controls and turn them over to the district o o Patch and paint the interior of the storage room and door. o Provide new hollow metal exterior double doors and frame with a 2'x2' vision light in the doors and a vision light above the door. (if possible re-work the existing frame) KD frames will not be allowed, only fully welded 16- gauge frames, provide submittals for approval. o Doors to receive Von Duprin keyed mullion for forklift/pallet jack access o Install a vertical mullion above the door. Prepare and paint. Provide new hardware and install existing salto lockset. Demo existing. o Provide a quad electrical outlet at 60" on the front wall for the teaching wall and two data drops at the same location. Provide backing in wall for the TV mount. o Provide and install Armstrong ceiling acoustic panels - Feltworks Blades BPSM1052FWR, 3/8 ". See the exhibit for quantity and location. Install with aluminum suspension bar. Relocate devices as necessary. o Install x2 data outlets on the southeast wall. o The contractor will include 24 man-hours for electrical rework. o Remove ducting in the storage room ceiling, patch, and paint. o Patch and repair all existing and new penetrations, etc. to match the surrounding area o All aspects of the work and items not specifically mentioned but which are necessary for a complete installation of fully functioning system shall be included in the bid. o The contractor is responsible for cleaning up daily and will also provide final cleaning once the project is completed prior to the District occupying the room. o Any activities that can potentially disrupt classes or other site activities will need to be coordinated with The District and or completed after hours or prior to school start, note that Wednesday's classes start at 9:50 am. o Contractor to provide submittals to the facilities department for approval prior to ordering materials.
