Furnish All Labor, Supervision, Equipment, and Material to Construct Foundations, Trench Duct Bank as Per Les Specifications S-24-27 Included in This Solicitation. Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Complete (1) the Les Construction and Installation Contract; 2) Furnish Proof of Insurance With Coverage Specified in the Contract by an Insurance Company Licensed to Do Business in Nebraska and Rated at Least B+ in a.m. Bests Rating. Certificate Must Show Les Listed as Additional Insured for General Liability and Include Waiver of Subrogation; 3) Furnish a Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond From a Surety Licensed to Do Business in Nebraska and Also Rated at Least B+ in a.m. Bests Rating; and 4) Complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form. This Specification Covers Requirements for Concrete Foundations, Cable Trench, and Pullboxes at the North Bluff Substation. The Common Street Address of the Substation is: 9385 N. 56th St, Lincoln, Ne 68514. The Proposed Work is Shown on the Associated Drawings. Foundations for the Control Building Shall Be Completed by November 8th, 2024 and All Remaining Foundations, Cable Trench, and Duct Bank Shall Be Completed by January 10th, 2025. Project Conditions 1.2.1 the Contractor: 1.2.1.1 is Responsible for Visiting the Job Site and Verifying Local Conditions. Arrangements Can Be Made by Contacting the Les Procurement Department. 1.2.1.2 is Responsible for Reviewing the Subsurface Investigation Results. 1.2.1.3 is Responsible for Locating All Existing Underground Utilities Prior to the Commencement of the Work. Quality Assurance 1.3.1 the Contractor Shall Be Experienced in the Construction of Concrete Foundations and Shall Provide References on Similar Projects if Requested by Les. 1.3.2 the Contractor Shall Be Responsible for All Sampling and Testing of Concrete. The Slump and Air Content Shall Be Tested on Site and to Ensure Conformance With This Specification. Either Four (4) 6"x12" or Five (5) 4"x8" Test Cylinders Shall Be Made for Each Day Concrete is Placed. 6"x12" Cylinders Shall Be Broken as Follows: (2) at 28 Days, (1) at 7 Days, and (1) Spare. 4"x12" Cylinders Shall Be Broken as Follows: (3) at 28 Days, (1) at 7 Days, and (1) Spare. A Copy of All Test Reports Shall Be Submitted to Les as Soon as Available. Question Deadline 09/26/2024 at 4:00 PM CT .
