General Construction The project consists of, but is not limited to, renovation of a two story, 6,000 square foot building, a 200 square foot stair/ elevator addition, and associated site development to become a walk-in crisis center to serve the community's population having a behavioral health crisis. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to five percent of the total price submitted inclusive of add alternates. Bids must remain valid for the period of time stated on the bid form. A performance bond on the part of the contractor for 100% of the contract price. A "performance bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfllment of all the contractor's obligations under such contract.A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100% of the contract price. A "payment bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. Wayne County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
