Clatsop County Public Works intends to contract for 307 lineal feet of drainage installation in the Arch Cape area at the intersection of Woodland Heights Lane & Hemlock Road and within the right-of-way Woodland Heights Lane. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment. Contractor must be licensed and bonded. It is recommended the potential contractor visit the site prior to submitting a quote. Selected Contractor will be required to sign a contract with the County and will need to provide proof of insurance with Clatsop County named as the additional insured. All work must be completed prior to November 30, 2024. Project Description: CONTRACTOR SHALL: Comply with the, State and Federal Codes and the requirements of local code officials. Comply with all OSHA safety requirements. Provide all equipment and materials to complete the project. Guarantee all work for (1) year from date of completion. Work to be completed consists of the following: All traffic control and protection and direction of traffic necessary for safety of motorists as required by the Oregon Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Provide all equipment, material and labor to complete installation of 3 - ODOT Type 3 concrete catch basins to grade as specified in plans and 307 feet of 8" SDR 35 pipe and fittings to restore drainage from the intersection to the ravine to the north. All excavated material becomes the Contractor's property. COUNTY SHALL 1. Place survey marks and offsets for the placement of the three catch basin locations. Work to be Completed Install 3 new ODOT Type 3 concrete catch basins with risers and H-20 rated grates to grade. Risers 1 - 6" 1 - 12" Excavate and install 307 lf of 8" SDR 35 to grade and connect catch basins. Replace all excavated material with 3/4 "- 0 aggregate, mechanically compacted in lifts not to exceed 10" - approx. 85 CY.
