The Val Verde Unified School District is requesting firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, persons, or professional organizations to prequalify and propose to construct new facilities pursuant to a lease-leaseback structure. Project Name - Estimated Project Cost El Potrero Preschool Modernization - $11,000,000 Victoriano Elementary School Modernization - $8,000,000 Questions Regarding This RFQ/P Must Be in Writing and Directed Only to Greg Whitton at Bidinquiries@valverde.edu by No Later Than 3:30 Pm on September 19, 2024. Contractors Are Directed Not to Contact Any Other Person Regarding This RFQ/P. The successful Contractor shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The successful Contractor and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to sections 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code.
