Nottawa Community Schools Accepting bids for the following installation services for modular classrooms project: General Trades Electrical Excavation Footings Septic Plumbing Question Deadline 09/24/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions during the bidding period shall be referred to Nottawa Community Schools via email to: CONTACT: Dan Darnell PHONE: 269-790-1769 EMAIL: Dan.Darnell@mobilemodular.com Bid bond or certified check of not less than 1/20th of the bid amount shall be submitted with bid and made payable to Nottawa Community Schools except for those bids that are below the current bid threshold of $29,572 as set by the consumer price index. All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Nottawa Community Schools or the Superintendent of the School. Nottawa Community Schools will NOT accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. See attached affidavit. As per MCL 380.1267 performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the proposed cost will be required for all contracts except those that are below the current bid threshold of $29,572. For bids in excess of the consumer price index bid threshold, the costs of a Performance and Payment Bond shall be included within the contractor's base bid price. No bids may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) consecutive calendar days following the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, alternates, or proposals, and to accept bids, alternates, or proposals that, in its judgment, serve its best interests. ***Bid Notes: Bids must be delivered no later than 5:00 pm on September 30th , 2024. Bids received after this specified date and time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened
