Summary Project Description: Three separate buildings to be remodeled simultaneously. Building 27 currently has minimal interior wood framing scheduled for demolition. Portions of the back exterior wall are scheduled for removal and replacement with new exterior windows, exterior door assembly, brick, and structure. In addition, a storm shelter will be built in place, designed with 8" CMU fully grouted walls and concrete cap. The remaining areas will be constructed of metal framed wall assemblies, acoustic ceiling tiles for scheduled offices, and a conference room at the far west end. Building 29 is to have selective demolition work, including the existing single- occupancy toilet, to meet current ADA codes and reconfiguration of the back half of the building.
