Construction of a groundwater well replacement with appurtenant waterlines, retention basin, electrical upgrades, site boundary fencing, and the performance of other appurtenant work The work shall be done in accordance with the Plans and Specifications on file and open for inspection at Public Works. The work is estimated to cost between $3,400,000 and $5,100,000 and shall be completed in 200 working days. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or C-57 contractor's license. Prebid questions regarding the Plans and Specifications shall be submitted via email only to: Ms. Irma Vargas at irvargas@dpw.lacounty.gov. Prebid questions will not be accepted after 5 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024. Sealed bids will be accepted by Los Angeles County Public Works, Project Management Division III, for the construction of a groundwater well replacement with appurtenant waterlines, retention basin, electrical upgrades, site boundary fencing, and the performance of other appurtenant work under Project ID No. WWD4004057, Avenue J-12 and 50th Street West Site Improvements Well 4-91, in the City of Lancaster. Pursuant to State Public Contract Code section 3400, the Board of Supervisors made a finding that the louver screen / shutter screen is designated by specific brand name to match other products in use on a particular public improvement either completed or in the course of completion. The project Plans and Specifications designate louver screen / shutter screen to be manufactured by Roscoe Moss. The work is estimated to cost between $3,400,000 and $5,100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
