IFB Hydro-Demolition Demonstration - To be performed at various locations along IH-35 in the greater Waco Area - Price(s) bid must be include any costs necessary to complete this task, including but not limited to: Labor, Machinery, Fuel, Hardware, Supplies. Hydro Demolition only: Quoted price should be based on a 10-hour daily rate to showcase the hydro demolition process to determine speed, long term value and logistics of the process based on blasting several 7-inch-deep areas to be determined by agency. Agency will: 1. Provide access to work area for all equipment and all personnel to include adequate protective shoring around each foundation listed for hydro-demo. 2. Provide layouts of area to Hydro-demo to inspect depths of demo area. 3. Provide accessible clean water to contractor's pumps at an average rate of 60 GPM to allow continuous operation and also as hydrant 4. Supply, install and maintain shielding as required on work site to protect surroundings if required. 5. Agency or Sponsor will provide appropriate personnel, from additional contractors, to successfully conduct demonstration. 6. Provide haul off and removal of all concrete debris other than that in vac truck. Contractor will: 1. Handle bonding and fees IF applicable. Agency will notify vendor if required. 2. Perform Hydro Demolition demonstrations at locations designated by agency. 3. Furnish Vac Truck for suction and discard of small debris and liquid. 4. Provide additional services as may be agreed upon by agency and contractor. Hydro Demo Clean Up: 1. Contractor is responsible for clean-up - Pricing for cleanup should be based on Hydro Demo debris via vac truck and crew. Debris to be dumped hourly within the TXDOT provided pit area. Water treatment not included. Pit area will not be maintained by contractor. Hydro Demo Mobilization/Demobilization: 1. Quote price per round trip mobilization to listed project sites, based on an anticipated one-time round trip of mobilizations per day. Contractor will make every effort to limit the removal demonstration to the desired depth. Contractor will not be liable for unintended removal due to unsound concrete encountered or any damage to beams, girders or pans, due to unintended removal of concrete during the demolition process (blow through). Exclusions: Layout of any sawing, trench covers, access, permits, water control, dust control, barricading, traffic control, escorting, breaking and/or removal, protection of any properties, damage to any unmarked utilities, final cleanup of work area and concrete pour back.
