The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment and materials to perform all work related to demolishing a 600 ft stretch of fence then constructing a perimeter chain link fence for part of the Property Boundary, as shown in other attachments on HIePRO. This new fence is to include one double-swing gate. All fencing must meet NAVFAC Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) for Fences and Gates; pages UFC 700-702 are attached and detail how posts, braces, gates, etc. are to be laid out and installed. Contractor must clear all vegetation 10 ft on each side of the existing fence path. DEMOLITION AND VEGETATION REMOVAL Contractor must demolish existing fence and posts down to the existing footings. After the fence is removed, contractor must clear approximately .23 acres of vegetation (trees, shrubbery, etc.) INSTALLATION Contractor shall install approximately 600 linear feet (LF) of new 8' high chain link fence with three strands of barbed wire on the top. All posts must be anchored 3 feet below grade with a 10" diameter of concrete for Line Posts and a 12" diameter of concrete for Terminal Posts. Each post must have a top cap with a 16" B.W. fitting extension. Barbed Wire strands are to be installed on the aforementioned fittings 5" apart. All material is to be PVC-coated and galvanized. No existing materials, including post footings, shall be utilized to construct the new fence. Contractor is responsible for Field Verification of the location of the new fence with the Owner prior to installation.
