Replacement of the existing HVAC system in the Sedimentation Basin Building at the Akron Water Treatment Plant. City's Local EDGE, DBE, MBE, SBE, VBE and WBE Goals. It is the aim of City to encourage the participation of local EDGE, DBE, MBE, SBE, VBE and WBE-certified firms located in Summit County in the Project. Contractor shall comply with that goal and award eighteen percent (18%) of the Contractor's final contract value, including labor and materials, to EDGE, DBE, MBE, SBE, VBE and/or WBE-certified firms located in Summit County. Contractor shall comply with that goal and award three percent (3%) of Contractor's final contract value, including labor and materials, to WBE-certified firms located in Summit County. The total awarded participation shall be at least 18%. Question Deadline 09/23/2024 at 4:00 PM ET To receive consideration, all questions about the meaning or intent of the Proposal Documents must be submitted through the Bonfire website at https://akronohio.bonfirehub.com/opportunities. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by City in response to such questions will be issued, in writing, by Addenda digitally to all plan holders that received this Request for Proposals.
