The project is located at the northeast corner of E. 101st Street (E. New Orleans Street) and S. 9th Street (S. Lynn Lane Road). The project consists of construction of a 2.0-2.5 million gallon elevated water storage tank along with all associated appurtenances. The project also includes approximately 192 linear feet of 24-inch and 876 linear feet of 12-inch on site water transmission main. Contract time for the project shall be Four-Hundred Eighty (480) calendar days. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured financial institution as required by law must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to BAMA. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by BAMA in the amounts equal to the Contract price. The acceptance and award of this Bid will be considered by BAMA. BAMA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest base bid or lowest combined base and additive alternate bids, if any, which is most advantageous to BAMA. The party submitting such request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery.
