Siphon Rehabilitation. Description: The prequalification for this work will be used to create a list of prequalified contractors that will be allowed to perform the work of the specialty excavation support systems and for the concrete restoration work of the Interceptor 1-MN-310 Siphon Rehabilitation project. CONTRACTORS may be disqualified if any unsolicited contact related to this IFP is made with an employee or representative of the Council other than the IFP Administrator during the prequalification process The project will include rehabilitation of the siphon pipes and rehabilitation of two siphon (headhouse and tail house) structures. The project is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on 2nd St. N and 8th Ave N at the busy intersection. The siphon structures are located beneath the Bassetts Creek Culvert. The specialty excavation support systems includes hand mined liner plate shafts (both horizontal and vertical) and the restoration of concrete subgrade structure utilizing single sided formwork.
