SUMMARY OF WORK: The proposed work for the Building Envelope and HVAC Improvements at Building 02 at Newberry High School includes, but is not limited to, the following: Allowances, cutting and patching, selective structure demolition, concrete forming and accessories, concrete reinforcing, cast-in-place concrete, concrete finishing, masonry mortaring and grouting, reinforced unit masonry, metal fabrications, blanket insulation, foamed-in-place insulation, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint protection, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, nonstructural metal framing and painting and coating and mechanical and electrical work as indicated on the documents. TIME OF COMPLETION. Time is of the essence. Task Order award will be made on October 15th, 2024. The Notice to Proceed will be issued shortly thereafter. The Work shall be Substantially Complete no later than May 14, 2025 two-hundred ten (210) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be fourteen (14) calendar days following Substantial Completion. As of September 24, 2024, construction is expected to start November 1, 2024. PAYMENT/PERFORMANCE Bonds in the form prescribed by AIA Document A312, in the amount of 100% of the Task Order amount, shall be required for quotations over $200,000. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES in the amount of $500.00 per day shall be paid by qualified Offeror to SBAC
