The City of Lakeland is Soliciting the Services of a State of Florida Registered Contractor to Provide All Required Materials, Tools, Permits, Equipment, Traffic Control, Labor and Supervision for the Construction of Edgewood Extension Lift Station Rehabilitation. These Improvements Are as Shown in the Drawings Prepared by Kimley-horn & Associates, Inc. (Project No. 046194047). The Bids Submitted and the Contract, if Awarded, Shall Be in Complete Accordance With This Invitation to Bid and the Project Plans and Specifications as Prepared by Kimley-horn & Associates, Inc., Without Limitation, and All Codes, Requirements and Regulations Referenced Therein. In Addition, Federal and State Funding is Being Utilized Under a Local Agency Agreement and Will Become Part of the Requirements. All Questions Regarding This Invitation to Bid Shall Be in Writing and Submitted Electronically via the Portal Through the Question and Answer Tab. Responses Will Be Released on the Question and Answer Tab. Scope- CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS AND PIPING FOR AN EXISTING LIFT STATION LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EDGEWOOD DRIVE SOUTH NEAR SOUTH MCKEEL ACADEMY. PUMPS HAVE RECENTLY BEEN INSTALLED BY THE CITY AND WILL HAVE TO BE TEMPORARILY REMOVED AND REINSTALLED FOR THIS PROJECT. IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE NEW TOP SLAB, PUMPS, ASSOCIATED PIPING, SUPPORTS, GUIDE RAILS, CONCRETE PAD, COATING OF THE WET WELL, AND MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL AND MECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION AS SHOWN ON THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFIED HEREIN. PROJECT ALSO INCLUDES BYPASS AND RESTORATION OF THE EXISTING LIFT STATION, AND DEMOLITION OF EXISTING PUMPS, PIPING, GUIDE RAILS, BRACKETS, TOP SLAB, AND ELECTRICAL.
