Said project shall include removal of existing HMAC roadway and base, lime stabilization, flexible base, asphalt pavement, concrete driveways and curb and gutter. The City of Mineral Wells reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality in connection therewith. Bid security in the form of Cashier's Check, Bid Bond or other negotiable instrument in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds and insurance as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 09/17/2024 If any person contemplating submitting a bid is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the plans, specifications, or other proposed contract documents, he may submit to the city a written request for an interpretation thereof at least seven (7) days prior to the time of opening of bids. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of these documents will be made only by addendum duly issued and a copy of such addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of such documents.
