The Boone County Fiscal Court will receive bids from qualified vendors to perform the services associated with the Resurfacing (Milling and Paving) of County Roads and Streets in the Union, Walton, and Hebron areas. Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials and services necessary to complete the work described in this Invitation to Bid. A bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in equal amount to five (5) percent of the bid (including Add Alternates) shall be submitted (electronically) with each bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the state of Kentucky to provide said surety. Question Deadline 09/19/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All requests for clarifications, changes, exceptions, deviations to the terms and conditions set forth in this bid package must be submitted via electronically. Question Response Deadline: September 20, 2024, 5:00pm Boone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to negotiate for the modifications of any bid or to accept that bid which is deemed the most desirable and advantageous from the standpoint of customer value and service and concept of operations, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after scheduled time of receipt of bids.
