This project is intended to be bid by interested and qualified general contractors and will include specialty subcontractors. A contractor's Agreement Design/Bid/Build (D/B/B) State Form SC-6.21 (State of Colorado, Office of the State Architect, State Building Program) will be utilized. This is a Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship Training Public Project under requirements of passed Senate Bill 19-196. Project Description The project scope includes, but is not limited to the replacement and upgrades to mechanical & HVAC building systems at the CU Anschutz Perinatal Research Facility identified below: Replace rooftop air handling unit (PH-1) in its entirety. This will include replacement and reuse of existing hydronic components currently located in the boiler room section of unit and its related equipment. Replacement of the existing rooftop Bryan Steam Boiler with new. o This will include replacement of the boiler and modifications to the existing system to remove abandoned heat exchangers that were originally used to provide hydronic heating. The new system will be modified to serve only the steam needs of the entire building.
