2024 Flare System Installation Description of Work Construction of the Marathon County Solid Waste Facility's Flare System Installation Are Described in Project Specifications and Construction Drawings and Include, but Are Not Necessarily Limited to, the Following Items: o Mobilization and Demobilization of Equipment, Labor, and Construction of Temporary. Facilities. o Earthwork Components of the Construction Include but Are Not Necessarily Limited to: San O Gravel Pad O Establishment of Ment Final Site Grades O General Excavation and Grading, Trenching and Backfilling O Erosion Control Installation O Seeding, Fertilizing, and Mulching O Grading to Repair Disturbed Surfaces to Original or Better Condition o Welding of Hdpe Pipe for Gas Collection. o Installation of Gas System Piping. o Installation of the Concrete Blower Skid and Flare Foundations. o Installation of Owner-provided Blower Skid and Flare. Installation of Pipe Supports. o Installation of Condensate and Leachate Drain Lines/forcemains. o Installation of Jersey Barriers. o Coordinating Work With the Flare Vendor and Electrician. The Following Items Are Excluded From the Bid: o Procurement and Installation of Electrical Wiring and Conduit o Procuring the Flare, Blower Skid, and Knockout Pot o Procuring the Hdpe Piping o Procuring the Jersey Barriers o Painting o Procuring and Installation of Flowmeters and Pressure Transducers Pre-qualification Due to the Special Nature of This Work, All Bidders Are Required to Submit to Mcswd Your Qualification Statement as Provided in the Bid Documents. Bidders Must Identify in Your Qualification Statement Projects You Have Experience of a Similar Type to That Which is Included in This Project (See the Above Description of Work) as Well as Gps Capabilities of Machinery to Be Used and Experience of Foreman/operators You Will Preman/operators Y Utilize During This Project. The Experience Required to Bid Bid on This Project is a Minimum of Three (3) Projects Completed by Your Firm. Owner Reserves the Right to Review the Potential Bidder's Qualifications and Make Decisions Based on the Best Interests of the County. Bid Submittal No Bids Shall Be Considered Unless Submitted on the Official Bid Form by the Bidder. Each Bidder Must Deposit With the Bid, Security in the Amount, Form, and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders Along With Supplemental Conditions. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informality in Bidding and to Award the Contract(S) in the Best Interests of the Owner. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of 60 Days After the Bid Opening. Electronic Submittals of Bid Forms Will Be Accepted.
