Should a bidderfind discrepancies in, or omissionsfrom the specifications or other contract documents, orshould he be in doubt asto the true meaning ofany part thereof, he should at once submit to Willis Engineering, Inc., P.O. Drawer 160, Grenada, MS, 38902, a written request for an interpretation. No oral interpretation should be made to any bidder as to the meaning ofany ofthe contract documents, or be effective to modify any ofthe provisions of the contract documents. The Engineers will modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. The Engineers will make all interpretations of duly issued addenda which will be mailed or delivered to all bidders ofrecord receiving copies ofthe Contract Documents; and neither the Owner nor the Engineers will be responsible for any other explanation or interpretation ofthe documents. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
