Furnishing of the Necessary Materials and Construction of the Waterline for a Secondary Feed Loop to Catawba Island and Danbury Townships Ottawa County, Ohio The Scope of Work for This Project Consists of Approximately 13,500 Linear Feet of 30" Waterline and Fittings, Including All Connections, Repair, Resurfacing, and Restoration for a Secondary Feed Loop to Serve Catawba Island and Danbury Township. The Estimated Cost of Construction is $6,712,475.00. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond Using the Form in the Contract Documents. (the Amount of the Bid Does Not Have to Appear on This Form.) 2. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit in Favor of Ottawa County in the Amount of 10% of the Bid. If the Contract is Awarded, Contract Bond Will Be Required, Which is a 100% Payment and Performance Bond. The Engineer for the Project is Kleinfelder, Inc., 1168 North Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. After the Award of the Contract Let by Competitive Bid and Prior to the Time the Contract is Entered Into, Bidders Shall Submit the Affidavit Required Under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 That the Bidder Was Not Charged With Any Delinquent Personal Property Taxes in Ottawa County, Ohio. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Pay Not Less Than the Minimum Wage Rates Established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. Ottawa County Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Irregularity in Any Bid and to Determine the Lowest and Best Bidder. Bidders With Unresolved Findings for Recovery on the State Auditor's Web Site Will Be Disqualified. Domestic Steel Use Requirements as Specified in Section 153.001 of the Revised Code Apply to This Project. Copies of Section 153.001 of the Revised Code Can Be Obtained From Any of the Offices of the Department of Administrative Services. Each Bidder Shall Complete a "Non-collusion" Affidavit and Include It With His Proposal. Bids Received After the Scheduled Bid Opening Date and Time, or Not Accompanied by a Satisfactory Bid Bond or Check, Will Neither Be Read or Considered. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid for a Period of 60 Days After the Scheduled Closing Time for the Receipt of Bids. This Project is Being Funded With American Rescue Plan Act (Arpa) Funding, Ohio Public Works Commission (Opwc) Funding and Local Share Reserves.
