No bid bond indicating an obligation of less than five percent (5%) by any method is acceptable. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount and who is currently on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service List. Bidders shall include the following on envelope of choice: company's name, address, Louisiana contractor's license number, bid number, bid opening date and time. Bids may be withdrawn by written, telegraphic fax notice or email and received at the address or email address designated in the Invitation to Bid prior to the time set for bid opening, as recorded by date stamp at the Purchasing Office.
