1. Introduction 1.1. Summary The purpose of this project is to replace the undersized drainage infrastructure from the northwest corner of Stacey Road and Quintette Road to the outfall approximately 3/4 of a mile South On the east side of Stacey Rd. This existing drainage system is composed of 50' of triple 36" RCP pipes and 300' of 3' x 6' box culvert. The existing drainage system causes Quintette Road to over top and the upstream ditch to surcharge and come within 7" of the finished floor elevation of the home adjacent to the storm water channel during the 25-year event. This project will replace the existing system with approximately 350' of 4' x 10' box culvert. This will include the installation of 100' of a 10' wide paved concrete ditch upstream of the existing system, reconstruction of 3/4 of a mile of Stacey Road and the milling and resurfacing of the intersection of Stacey Road and Quintette Road, and the regrading of the existing downstream ditch. Utility relocations for ECUA (Sewer) and Cottage Hill (Water) will be included and coordination with Okaloosa Gas to avoid impact to their facilities. This project is designed for the road to not overtop and the flow be contained within the upstream and downstream ditches during the 100-year storm event 1.2.
