Reference Number 0000362299 The State of Colorado, Department of Corrections (CDOC), is soliciting the submittal of pre-qualifications from firms to replace the security systems for the Sterling Correctional Facility (SCF) Access Controls Electronic Security System Replacement - Phase 1 & 2 project. The pre-qualifications will be evaluated establishing a pre-qualified list of Security Electronics Contractors to bid the project. The project includes replacing the Door Control, Intercom, Paging, Access Control, Fiber Network, Woodwork, Countertops, Cooling Systems for Security Rooms, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) systems. The project includes the work shown on the Electronic Security (ES), Technology (TY) Security Drawings, the E series Electrical Drawings, and M Series Mechanical Drawings. The work also includes the work described in Specifications 28 70 00 through 28 70 95. The new system will require a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control system in which all systems are to be integrated.
