The Department Will Only Accept Bid Registration Forms From Contractors Who Are Prequalified in the Work Categories of the Particular Project. Registration Will Be Closed at 3:00 Pm on the Day Preceding the Letting. KY DOT - Call 101 - Grade & Drain With Asphalt Surface - US 27 Questions about projects during the advertisement should be submitted in writing to the Division of Construction Procurement. This may be done by email to kytc.projectquestions@ky.gov. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Except as specified herein, perform all work in accordance with the Departments Standard Specifications, Supplemental Specifications, applicable Special Notes and Special Provisions, and applicable Standard and Sepia Drawings, current editions. Furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the following work: Construction of a RCUT Intersection. The intent of this project is to construct an RCUT along US 27 at the intersections with KY 1845 (Rogers Road) and CR 1351 (Old Lexington Road E). This will be accomplished by constructing: Standard Barrier Median in median area of US 27. Traffic Splitter Islands on KY 1845, CR 1062, and CR 1351 (Old Lexington Road E) near stop bars at US 27. Loons along US 27 outside (slow) lanes across from the proposed U-Turn Crossovers. Widening of the existing US 27 roadway to provide sufficient width for turn lanes and offsets.
