This project will include removing existing deteriorating streets with new reinforced concrete street pavement with curb and gutter, storm drainage improvement, water and wastewater improvements and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the design plans and specifications. Street Reconstruction Group 17-1105. 1. Hughes Lane from Wilderness Court to Preston Road - PB17V224, 2. Edelweiss Circle from Hillcrest Road to End of Pavement - PB17V279. All Bidders Will Be Required to Comply With Chapter 15b, Equal Employment Opportunity Contract Compliance, of the Dallas City Code and the Cod 2021 Addendum to the North Central Texas Council of Governments (Nctcog) Public Works Construction Standards - North Central Texas, 5th Edition, November 2017. Cashier's Check or Acceptable Bidder's Bond Payable to the City, In an Amount of Not Less Than Five Percent of the Total Bid Submitted Must Accompany Bid. Two Copies of the Bid Must Also Accompany the Bid Original. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. It is the Goal of the City of Dallas That at Least 32 Percent of the Work Performed Under Each Construction Contract Be Performed By Minority and Women Business Enterprises.
