The work consists of installing approximately 6491 LF of 6" and 8" watermain, 3812 LF of 8" sewer main, 138 LF of 8" HDPE sewer main (pipe bursting), 1267 LF of 18" and 12" storm drain, storm drain inlets, reconnecting sewer & water services, replacing 16 manholes, pavement, replacement and various incidental items. Site Directions: 0.1 miles north of the Hwy 16 and Hwy 116 intersection. All bidders must comply with requirements for Bid Security in accordance with W,S. 15-1-113(f), and the Successful Bidder must comply with requirements for Contract Securities (Payment and Performance Bonds) in accordance with W.S. 15-1-113(d) and (f) and W.S. 16-6-112. A bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum Bid price in the form of a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraphs 5.0-1 and 5.02 of the General Conditions for bids greater than $150,000. Bid security may be in the form of a certified check or bank money order for bids $150,000 or less. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment bonds, each in the amount at least equal to 100% of the Contract Price as faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents, and shall be executed by such sureties as are named in the list of "Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Financial Management Service, Surety Bond Branch, U.S. Department of the Treasury. The Town Of Upton (Owner) reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the town. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
