The Work Consists of Removing Approximately 300 Square Yards of Existing Pavement Forgrade and Installing Approximately 1,000 Tons of New Pavement With Tack Oil. Bidders Will Not Be Required to Furnish a Bid Bond; However, the Successful Bidder Shall Furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount of the Accepted Bid. Appropriate Insurance, as Outlined in the Bid Documents Will Be Required. The City of Shepherdsville Reserves the Right to Accept the Bid Deemed by It to Be in Its best Interest, Not Necessarily the Lowest Bid; the Right to Disqualify Bids From Bidders Not Deemed to Be Qualified; the Right to Disqualify Bids Deemed to Be Defective, And the Right to Waive Defects in Bids Where Such Defects Are Not Deemed Significant. The City of Shepherdsville is an Eeo Employer The work consists of edge key, milling, repair, and overlay of approximately 48,000 square yards of existing pavement for grade and installing approximately 880 tons ofnew bituminous asphalt pavement with tack oil.
