The Project consists of replacement of the existing fire alarm system, including new smoke detectors, fire alarm control panel, associated wiring and other items, as defined and described in the Specifications and Drawings accompanying this Request for Proposals. The budget for this Project is $180,000.00. The Work consists of, but is not limited to: Replacement of the existing fire alarm system, including smoke detectors, fire alarm control panel, wiring, and all accessories required for a complete security electronics system Statutory Bonds for performance of the contract and for payment of mechanics and materials will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum, in accordance with Texas Government Code Ch. 2253. Proposal Surety is required in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the proposal. The Owner reserves the right to hold all proposals for up to, and including, sixty (60) days from date of receipt without action, to reject any and all proposals, to waive irregularities and to require statements of evidence of offerors qualifications, including financial statements . The work generally consists of removal of replacement of existing smoke detectors, fire alarm control panel, fire alarm annunciator panel and replacement of any wiring and/or accessories required to provide a new, functioning fire alarm system. C. Phasing of the work will be required to complete the project. Refer to the original drawings (included with this proposal package) for locations of existing fire alarm devices and panels. If an on-site visit is required to verify the locations of existing equipment, devices and panels, please inform the Architect for scheduling. .Question Deadline 09/13/2024 Requests for interpretations, etc. must be received on or before seven (7) days prior to the date set for receipt of Proposals. E. All interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by DRG Architects, LLC and approved by the Owner, in response to the Offeror's request, will be issued by written Addenda. The sole issuing authority of Addenda shall be vested in the Architect
