The City of West Haven is seeking qualified contractors to provide quotations for an Electric and Fire Alarm Package, which includes the upgrade of existing lighting and controls to an LED system, both inside and outside the Animal Shelter, and work related to a proposed new Cat Room Addition. This RFQ outlines the project requirements and specifications. Interested and qualified vendors are invited to submit their quotations for consideration. The City of West Haven intends to carry out the following work: Lighting and Controls Upgrade: Upgrade the existing lighting and controls inside and outside the Animal Shelter to an LED system. This project aims to improve energy efficiency and enhance the safety and visibility of the facility. Cat Room Addition: Provide electrical and fire alarm installation services related to the proposed new Cat Room Addition at the Animal Shelter. All questions regarding this request for qualifications should be directed by email to Kathy Chambers, Senior Buyer Procurement Analyst, City of West Haven, at kchambers@westhaven-ct.gov. The request for information deadline is 5 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposal process, and to accept any proposal that it deems to be in the best interest of the City. This RFQ does not obligate the City to accept any proposal, award a contract, or pay any costs that Respondents incur in the preparation or submission of proposals.
