Contract #4- Electrical Reconstruction The Bid Deposit for Hard Copies Shall Be Refunded to Each Bidder Only if the Plans and Specifications Are Returned in Good Condition, With No Handwritten Notations Thereon Within Thirty (30) Days Following the Award of the Contract or the Rejection of the Bid of Such Person or Corporation. Unsuccessful Bidders Who Request More Than One (1) Set of the Plans and Specifications Will Be Partially Reimbursed for Extra Sets in Accordance With General Municipal Law 102 if Returned in Good Condition, With No Handwritten Notations Thereon, Within Thirty (30) Days Following the Award or Rejection of the Bids. Each Bidder Must Deposit, With Their Sealed Bid, Security in an Amount Not Less Than 10% of the Base Bid and All Alternate Bids in the Proper Form Subject to the Conditions Set Forth in the Instructions to Bidders (Section 8). Performance Bonds Labor/material Bonds and Maintenance Bond, as Called for in the General Conditions Are a Requirement of Each Contract. The Hewlett-woodmere Ufsd Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Submitted, to Waive Any Informality or Irregularity in Any Bid, and/ or to Accept Any Bid in Whole or in Part and/ or to Award or Not Award the Contract, if in the Opinion of the Hewlett-woodmere Ufsd, the Best Interest of the School District Will Thereby Be Served. 22-013 No oral interpretation of the Bidding Documents or oral answers to questions concerning the Bidding Documents will be given. All questions about the Bidding Documents must be submitted to the Architect in writing. Replies will be issued in writing to all bidders of record as addenda to the Bidding Documents and will become part of the contract. Replies issued in any other manner will not be binding. The Architect will not be responsible for oral clarifications. No inquiry received within seven (7) calendar days of the date fixed for the opening of bids will be given consideration.
