Summary Frederick County, Maryland (the County) is requesting information regarding the interest from potential developers of low-income housing in order to develop either a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to solicit qualified candidates for potential disposition or ground lease of Parcel A located at 585 Himes Avenue, Frederick, Maryland 21703. The County is open to all solution ideas and information but is specifically interested in affordable housing for households earning no greater than 60% of the Area Median Income. The purpose of this RFI is to gauge interest, gather information to develop project requirements for the next phase of the procurement process, and collect ideas from potential developers with the interest, capacity, and qualifications to design, plan, finance, construct, and operate/manage a desirable 100% affordable housing project or a mixed income housing project on the Subject Property.
