The work to be done under this Contract includes the furnishing of project management, labor, materials, tools and equipment for the construction of the 2024 CIP Sewer Pipeline Replacement Project, Project No. 521032 for the City of Redlands, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. A. Work In This Contract: Work in this Contract includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for construction of 2024 CIP Sewer Pipeline Replacement Project, Project No. 521032 as noted on the Contract Drawings and all other Contract Documents and is summarized as follows: 1. The Work shall consist of furnishing and installing all pipe, fittings, manholes, CIPP, and appurtenances; testing all pipelines; all traffic control (including furnishing and installing all arrowboards, barricades, signs, delineators, and flagmen); all utility location and verification (excavating, exposing, and verifying top, bottom, and side of utility facilities); all pavement removal and disposal; all earthwork (including trenching, shoring, sloping, bedding, and backfilling including select imported material or select native material); compacting; protecting in place or removing and replacing all existing utilities, manholes, trees, and public and private improvements; replacing all asphalt concrete pavement; pavement striping and restriping; testing all pipelines; destroyed survey monuments; disposing of excess soil and rock material and restoring all areas and improvements to pre-construction conditions. 2. The Contractor shall, upon completion of the pipeline construction and appurtenances required herein, initially operate all components of the Contract Work furnished and installed by Contractor, and make any additional adjustments, corrections, repairs, replacements, and reconstructions necessary to provide the City with complete, correctly operating pipeline and appurtenances.
