The scope of work for the light commercial agreement shall apply to the following facilities not to exceed 200,000 square feet; office buildings, shopping centers, auto sales agencies and garages, churches, funeral homes, nursing homes, hotels, retail and wholesale facilities, small stand-alone manufacturing facilities when free standing and not part of a larger facility (not to exceed 50,000 square fee), solar projects (500 panels or less) unless otherwise covered under the agreement, lighting retrofits (when not associated with remodels involving branch re-circuiting) lighting retrofits shall be defined as the changing of lamps and ballasts in existing light fixtures and shall also include the one for one replacement of existing fixtures, warehouses, gas stations, food service centers, restaurants, entertainment facilities, hospitals, clinics, motels, residential buildings. In compliance with Section 153.08 of the Ohio Revised Code and Section 153:1-8-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code, Bids for this Project are being received, opened, and published through electronic means using the State's electronic bidding service. Trade Estimate General Contract $1,433,950.00 The Contractor is responsible for scheduling the Project, coordinating the Subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents. The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 5.0 percent. The Contracting Authority has a goal to provide 5% opportunity for EDGE certified companies to perform work on the Contracting Authority's prime contracts. Apparent Low Bidders that are incapable of identifying 5% of work on prime contracts for fulfillment by EDGE certified companies must complete all sections of the Demonstration of Good Faith form. The apparent low bidder shall thoroughly document its efforts to identify work for EDGE certified companies. The apparent low bidder may request the owner to waive the 5% participation goal in part or in total. The apparent low bidder shall submit a Request for Waiver on company letterhead.
