Replace all missing drywall from rooms 405, 433, and 428/429 (Priority) at the Customs Examining Building. The drywall to be installed and finished. (paint and trim) Ensure all current poly is in proper condition and setting to act as a proper vapor barrier. If it is not, to install proper vapor barrier. Paint, add baseboard, and reattach all cabinetry and baseboard heaters. Paint all walls that need reinstalling, to the proper finish for the areas (contractor to determine) low VOCs, likely afterhours as to not affect tenants (re: smells) Baseboards and trims to be installed where needed to match existing as best as possible. Uninstall, and reinstall tenant equipment associated to the walls in question. (sublimation dryer, washer/dryer for example) Replace any damaged or stained ceiling tiles associated with the work. Ensure work area is tidy and cleaned up after each work day. As much work as possible to be completed between Monday and Friday- most areas do not have active work in them. Any work with smells or excessive noise to be done after hours if that is determined at time. Room 405 - requesting entire room to be painted (no work to be done in 405A or 405B) - Room 433 - there will be lab equipment to dispose of here (details in bid documents) - Room 428/429 is an active room so work to be coordinated with employee (s) to allow daytime work. BGIS Property will have all the ceiling tiles installed prior to this project, any damage to tiles from project work will be responsibility of contractor. Request to have pressure treated plywood installed behind wall heaters, heaters will need to be removed off wall to complete work-reinstalled- shut off's on 3rd floor fyi. Electrical boxes - fire alarm will need to be remounted in areas. There will be some water lines to be capped where applicable when lab equipment is disposed off. All work must to be completed by December 2024 or sooner pending confirmation of material delivery.
