P041671- The scope of work for this project is to perform repairs to the SC-8 bridge over Oolenoy River. As indicated in the plans and as specified in this section, repairs will include, but not be limited to, removal of drift and debris from the channel within 30ft. of the bridge; removal of vegetation from bridge elements; application of corrosion inhibiting bonding agent to spalls with exposed reinforcing as directed by the RCE; removal and replacement of existing expansion joints with cold pour expansion joints; removal and disposal of existing beam repairs; beam end web and flange repairs; cleaning and painting select steel superstructure elements; installation of timber pile wraps; fill scour holes in abutment slopes using embankment repair: geotextile and riprap installation; flowable fill installation at end bents; mill, resurface, and restripe approach roadways within 75'-0" of the bridge ends; install temporary deck openings for pile installation; install steel crutch bents; repair deck openings.
