The City of Beaufort is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to make repairs and replace windows to the City's office building located at 500 Carteret Street, Beaufort, SC. The building was constructed in 1934 and served as an auto dealership. In 1983 it was renovated and completely reconfigured into a bank/office building. Currently, there are various tenants in the building to include, City offices, Park Beaufort, Beaufort Digital Corridor, Southern Carolina Landing Pad and three (3), individual businesses. This Request for Proposal is being issued by the City of Beaufort. The City adopts the State of South Carolina's goal for participation of M/WBEs: ten percent (10%) of annual controllable procurement expenditures which are defined as agreements between the City and a Vendor to provide or procure labor, materials, equipment, supplies and services to, for or on behalf of the City. However, a specific expectation has not been set for this RFP.
