The City of Humble is requesting bids for the Wilson Road Public Utilities Extension Project. This project involves the extension of public utilities along the Wilson Road Extension, including the installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 8" diameter water line, including valves, fire hydrants, service connections, and approximately 1,800 linear feet of 8" diameter sanitary sewer and 2" force main, including manholes and service stubouts, as well as all labor, equipment, material, and incidentals required for the project. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid must Accompany each bid in accordance with the general instructions to bidders. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a Period of ninety (90) days after bid opening. The successful bidder will be Required to furnish a performance bond, payment bond, and maintenance bond in An amount of 100% of the total contract price. The successful bidder will be Required to furnish insurance that meets all requirements as set forth in the Project manual with the city of humble named as additional insured. Upon consideration of the proposals, the City Council plans to award a Contract; however, the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the City. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Engineer, the City and their respective agents and/or employees arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid.
