The Chanute 6 MGD Water Treatment Plant Improvements project includes retrofitting the existing water intake and the installation of raw water pump systems, replacement of clarifier equipment with dome covers, construction of a chemical feed building and chemical systems, installation of rapid mixers, construction of clearwells, renovation of the chlorine contact basin, and the construction of a high service pump station. The project also includes associated process piping, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and building renovations as well as site improvements including the installation of a stormwater and drainage system.
