New bleachers, new concessions/restroom building along with miscellaneous underground utilities and sitework in the surrounding area. Governing Board of the Grossmont Union High School District ("District") is inviting prequalified contractors with prequalified subcontractors. This bid is NOT subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements but always encouraged. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. District is required to have 3% percentage each year. Bidder must provide a DVBE prime or subcontractor at 3% or complete the Good Faith Efforts package. All paperwork is due at time of bid. Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if awarded to the bidder, and will provide the performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates and other documents described in the Contract Documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (2) a certified check made payable to the District; or (3) a bond made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Contract Documents.
