This is a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming solicitation at William H. Harsha Lake. The solicitation is expected to post by 05 September 2024 and will have approximately a 14 calendar day window before the solicitation closes. A draft Specification is attached. NO SITE VISIT will be scheduled for this project due to time constraints with the end of the fiscal year. Additional drawings will be posted with the solicitation. This project was previously solicited as W912QR24Q0075. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures (SAP). This project consists of a base quote to install a government furnished contractor installed (GFCI) horizontal lifeline fall protection system on the catwalk under the control tower service bridge at William H. Harsha Lake in Batavia Township, OH. The contractor is responsible for fabricating and installing the steel assemblies for the lifeline connection points. There are 24 connection points which consist of 5 different types of connection configurations. The contractor is also responsible for all materials and labor associated with the installation of the government furnished contractor installed (GFCI) horizontal lifeline system. The horizontal lifeline system has already been acquired by the site staff and will be provided to the contractor for installation (GFCI). The final system will consist of a total of 680 LF of lifeline, made up of two 160 LF systems and two 180 LF systems. There are no options to the contract. Work will begin within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will conclude 120 calendar days after the NTP. the estimated price range for this project w ill be between $25,000 and $100,000. Please note, that all questions shall be submitted within five (5) days of the solicitation closing date. The Government will respond within two (2) days of the solicitation closing date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
