All questions must to be submitted by 5:00 PM, September 20, 2024. Any question related to this Request for Qualifications shall be emailed to lori.mathys@loganutah.gov. The City of Logan is seeking qualified construction managers / general contractors for work related to the City's potable water systems. The CITY OF LOGAN desires to construct multiple potable water mains and related improvements in support of a new 10-million-gallon water storage tank that is expected to be constructed simultaneously. Construction of the water tank is not a part of this solicitation. The water mains extend from the mouth of Logan Canyon west to 200 West and south into the Cliffside development. In general, the water mains will be in sizes of 14 inches to 48 inches and will be constructed of multiple material types. The contractor will be instrumental in providing constructability and cost related inputs in the decision process. Additionally, the City will require construction of asphalt, curb & gutter, sidewalk, and park strip improvements along portions of Canyon Road where these improvements are missing or are required to be relocated. Construction is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2025. The City's Engineering Consultant, J-U-B Engineers "JUB" has developed 30% plans of the major water mains which can be found in Appendix A. It is the City of Logan's intent to enter into a preconstruction services contract with a qualified construction manager general contractor. The CMGC will work closely with JUB and City Staff in the further development of the construction plans and will develop construction cost estimates and construction schedules associated with the plans. The City of Logan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses and to waive informalities.
