It is the intent of these specifications to contract with qualified vendors to provide an infield soil mix of approximately 70% sand, 12% silt, and 16% clay, to the Sebastian County Parks, hereinafter referred to as "SCP". The infield mix will be delivered for installation in September and October, as fields are ready for the infield contractor to install the infield mix. Winning bid must furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment as necessary to properly perform work described. No guarantee is given as to the amount of infield mix that will be required during the entire contract period. Vendors shall use trained and skilled employees in this trade that are directly employed with their company, must furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, material, and supplies necessary to properly perform the work required, must be licensed as required by the State of Arkansas, and insured. Bid bonds are NOT required. All questions or requests for clarification shall be submitted in writing via email at purchasing@sebastiancountyar.gov or mail at Purchasing Department, 35 South 6th Street, Room 106, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901. The County Judge reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or any portion thereof, and readvertise if deemed necessary. Award will be made to the Company whose proposal conforms to the RFP and will be most advantageous to Sebastian County.
