Kudu Barn Roof Replacement The Saint Louis Zoo Facilities Management division is seeking proposals for the roof replacement of the Kudu Barn. This building has a concrete roof with an existing layer of insulating foam under a fluid-applied membrane. The roof's perimeter is surrounded by shotcrete boulders cast in place, and there are two existing scuppers. The project requires the removal of the current membrane and insulation. Question Deadline 09/11/2024, All questions must be received for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and answers will be shared with all responders. Questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted via email to Candace Bingham, Director of Procurement at cbingham@stlzoo.org. A separate cost is required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds for the total cost of this project if the project exceeds $75,000. A reinforced PMMA resin system, applied in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines, will be used to coat the deck. Acrylic coatings and silicone coatings will NOT be accepted for this project. All products must meet or exceed the performance specifications provided in Attachment 1. The base bid should cover all flat areas immediately surrounding the skylights.
