The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services - Parks Division seeks a vendor to provide pricing to extend the existing field netting 20' vertically from top of post. Award will be based on the lowest price and pricing must be valid from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Question Deadline 09/19/2024 at 3:00 PM PT Questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted directly through online. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Bidders must possess and provide the following license(s) or certification(s) to be deemed qualified to perform the work specified: C13 - Fencing OR Class A- General Engineering There are forms included in the section named Submittal/Checklist of these specifications which a bidder or proposer must complete to establish compliance with a number of City Requirements, including, but not limited to, equal employment opportunity and affidavit of noncollusion. These forms and their instructions should be considered an integral part of the specifications and failure to complete them may be grounds, in the sole discretion of the city, for rejection of any bidder or proposer. To this end, contractor agrees to recruit Pasadena residents initially and to give them preference, if all other factors are equal, for any new positions that result from the performance of this contract and which are performed within the City. Pasadena Living Wage Ordinance If this purchase includes a service, and the contract total is at $25,000 or more, it is then subject to the City of Pasadena's Living Wage Ordinance, Pasadena Municipal Code Chapter 4.11. The ordinance requires that contractors providing labor or services to the City under contracts in excess of $25,000 pay no less than the City's Living Wage to all employees who spend any of their time providing labor or delivering services to the City
