Proposal for construction and installation of Tealey Creek Snowmobile Trail Bridge. The County Department of Land Conservation & Forest Management is seeking proposals and corresponding bids for the removal of the existing bridge and the design, professional engineering, construction and installation of a new snowmobile trail bridge that meets WDNR specifications, including appropriate pilings and a 25,000 lb weight limit Project Completion: June 1, 2026. Chippewa County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Performance and Payment Bonds - Submit Performance Bond and Payment Bond on AIA Document 312 Performance Bond or Payment Bond OR on forms provided by the Surety. THIS PROJECT WILL REQUIRE A PERFORMANCE BOND FOR THE AMOUNT OF THE PROJECT, BUT WILL NOT REQUIRE A BID BOND. Question Deadline 09/10/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Owner in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties who are known to have received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Copies of Addenda will be made available for inspection wherever Bidding Documents are on file for that purpose. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date of opening of bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
