Bidders will also need to provide proof of Los Alamitos Business License. General Requirements - Certification/Training - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Employee Background Checks Required - Insurance Required - License Required - Onsite Maintenance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 50 % - Payment Bond 100 % a cashier's check made payable to the City of Los Alamitos; (c) a certified check made payable to the City of Los Alamitos; or (d) a bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer made payable to the City of Los Alamitos The contractor shall hold, at the time of submitting the proposal, a valid State of California Contractor's Class A or C-8 License, as required by the Department of Consumer Affairs for the type of work to be performed. The Agency is seeking proposals from Contractors to provide all types of Hardscape Maintenance (asphalt concrete) and construction work. The work will be assigned throughout the fiscal year by the Agency's representative. Approximately six (6) times per fiscal year, the Agency will identify a list of miscellaneous AC repair locations ("target areas" or "isolated") to be treated. The Agency reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
