Contractor's License Required for the Work: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Subcontractors with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work; OR, C-10 Electrical Contractor or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work; in addition, data cabling, fiber, and low-voltage system work must be performed by C-7 licensed and Belden Certified contractor. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law. The Project is generally described as including but not limited to: Technology and data upgrades at Bret Harte Elementary School. The work includes but is not limited to the demolition of existing MDF infrastructure in Data Server Room 105 in Building A, IDF-203 in Building B, and IDF-P2 in the Bungalows, upgrades to the MDF in Data Server Room 105 and the IDF in IDF-203, and new IDF build-out outside the Bungalows. Additional electrical work to support expansion, alongside the installation of new data network equipment and connections to accommodate expanded technology requirements affecting the main buildings, classrooms, administrative offices, corridors, and other service areas. Installation of data and phone network systems, network racks, and equipment with associated conduit, cabling, fiber, electrical wiring, and panels. The demolition and removal of abandoned equipment and materials and hazardous materials removal. Prevailing Wage: The work described is pursuant to California Labor Codes 1770 and 1771.
