New A.S.K. Playground Restroom Facility to be located at 1239 N. Maple Street, Eaton, OH 45320 Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Bond and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The project is tax exempt. Bidders must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act (40 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3141 to 3148, as amended) prevailing wage rates for Building Construction Projects in Preble County as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. Additionally, bidders must comply with the following federal rules and regulations: 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5 "Labor Standards Provisions AppEcable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed and Assisted Construction."). Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act (40 U.S.C. 3145), as supplemented by the Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 3, "Contractors and Subcontractors on Public Building or Public Work Financed in Whole or in Part by Loans or Grants from the United States") Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708) Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and Federal Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387), as amended. Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment (31 U.S.C. 1352) The Board of Preble County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the Preble County Commissioners, at the time and under the stipulations in the GENERAL PROVISIONS. Every Request for Information (RFI) should be in writing and addressed to Board of Preble County Commissioners at 101 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320, and to be given consideration, must be received at least eight (8) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids 213603-0424-071
