Temporary modular classroom building for the Squantum School to be located at the existing school at 50 Huckins Ave., Quincy, MA. The modulars are needed in connection with the construction of a new School Building that will begin in June 2025 and be completed in November 2027. The City of Quincy, the Awarding Authority, invites competitive sealed proposals per M.G.L. c. 149, 44E, for the design, installation and two-year lease of one modular classroom building consisting of nine classrooms, handicap accessible student gang restrooms, two faculty restrooms that meet code requirements, one custodial utility closet, one staff office, approximately 11,750 sq. ft. Proposer must be certified by DCAMM for Modular Construction. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The City of Quincy, the Awarding Authority, invites competitive sealed proposals for the design, installation and two-year lease of one (1) modular classroom building consisting of nine (9) classrooms atthe Squantum School, 50 Huckins Ave, Quincy, MA 02171. All classrooms shall be compliant with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Modular building shall include the following: handicap accessible student gang restrooms, two (2) faculty restrooms that meet code requirements, one (1) custodial utility closet, (1) staff office, a three (3) phase electrical system, fire protection system (sprinklers) and a tech ready system. Fire alarm system will be by others. The total building shall be as close to 11,750 square feet as possible.
